Phoenix Kick

Gee I wonder where I pulled that title from. :'D

Recently I've had a couple of attempts at redrawing Feng but most of them haven't turned out too great. I kinda like this one, despite the glaring mistakes. This must be like my fastest lineart ever. My digital colouring is progressively getting lazier though. Don't have much time to fine-tune stuff anymore. And so much purple. XD

Tried experimenting with different angles and poses. Wanted to play around with more exaggerated facial expressions than I normally draw too. The angle definitely threw me off. Redrew the right arm/shoulder countless times before giving up on trying to fix it. But it was fun to try out. 

FX lines done with brush tool because I haven't gotten around to reinstalling Clip Studio, which actually lets you add effects.
